What is Noorani Qaida?
It is a scientific method of teaching the Quran to non-Arabs. Instead of overwhelming you with grammar, it breaks down the Arabic language into phonetic sounds.
Think of it as “Phonics for the Quran”. By the time you finish the book, you can read any word in the Quran, even if you don’t know what it means.
Your 4-Phase Roadmap
Phase 1: The Alphabet & Makharij
Learning the 28 letters. The focus here is 100% on Makharij (where the sound comes from in the throat/mouth).
Phase 2: Connecting Letters
Arabic is cursive. You will learn how the shape of a letter changes when it is at the beginning, middle, or end of a word.
Phase 3: The Movements (Harakat)
Adding vowels (Fatha, Kasra, Damma). This turns letters into actual sounds. E.g., B + A = BA.
Phase 4: Advanced Rules (Tajweed Base)
Learning Sukoon (pause), Shaddah (double letter), and Tanween. This is the bridge to reading full verses.
