Master Quran Tajweed: From Basic Reading to Perfection
Embark on a spiritual journey to recite the Quran exactly as it was revealed. Learn the precise rules of Tajweed with certified teachers who guide you from your very first letter to fluent, melodious recitation.
Why is Tajweed Obligatory?
The Quran is the word of Allah, and reciting it requires a specific methodology known as Tajweed. This science preserves the tongue from making mistakes (Lahn) that could alter the meaning.
Mistakes fall into two categories:
1. Lahn Jali (Major Mistakes): Changing a letter or a vowel (Harakah). For example, pronouncing the ‘Qaf’ (ق) as a ‘Kaf’ (ك), or a ‘Sin’ (س) as a ‘Sad’ (ص). This is considered sinful if done intentionally or out of negligence because it changes the meaning of the verses.
2. Lahn Khafi (Hidden Mistakes): Issues related to the beauty and perfection of the recitation, such as not giving the Ghunnah its proper duration or missing a subtle Ikhfa.
At Ayat Online Academy, we ensure you eliminate both types of mistakes through our structured curriculum.
What You Will Master
Our course is designed to take you from a basic level to proficiency. Here are the core modules you will cover with your private tutor:
- Makharij (Articulation): Learning the exact exit points of Arabic letters from the throat, tongue, and lips.
- Sifaat (Characteristics): Understanding which letters are heavy (Tafkheem) and which are light (Tarqeeq).
- Noon Sakinah Rules: Mastering Izhar, Idgham, Iqlab, and Ikhfa.
- Meem Sakinah Rules: The rules governing the letter Meem when it has no vowel.
- The Madd (Elongation): Knowing when to stretch a sound for 2, 4, or 6 counts.
- Waqf & Ibtida: The rules of stopping and starting, ensuring you don’t stop at a place that corrupts the meaning.
The Power of “Talaqqi” (Face-to-Face)
You cannot learn Tajweed from a book alone. It is an oral tradition passed down from the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to the Companions, and then through generations of scholars to us. This method is called Talaqqi.
Our teachers act as your mirror. They listen to your recitation, identify the subtle errors in your mouth position, and correct you instantly. This feedback loop is impossible to achieve with recorded videos or apps.
We use modern tools like screen sharing, digital Qurans with color-coded Tajweed rules, and whiteboard explanations to make the rules easy to visualize and apply.
